end of january and i am already longing for summer in the city. destroyed vintage denim cut-offs, drapey white tanks & tees and my new oversized, reconstructed vintage blazer by preloved. can't. wait.
and alexander wang, you're not making the wait for warmth any easier.
t by alexander wang, the diffusion line launching any time now, features everything you love about wang's style: soft and comfy tanks and t's that seem ridiculous to pay hundreds of dollars for, but are so elegantly draped and look so amazing on a feminine frame you just can't help but covet. only this time, they're going for a fraction of the usual going rate for his runway looks. yes, please.

love it. sasha pivovarova's fall/winter '08 - '09 campaign for zara is, of course, spectacular. sasha being one of my favorite models, this season at zara is perfection. don't even get me started on the clothes.
oh, yeah. okay.
i am crazy about oversized comfy sweaters. absolutely. don't think i can stress this enough. on a slimmer frame i find the oversized looks so graceful and elegant. it's an excellent excuse to wear clothes that are functionally warm and comfortable this winter while still looking like you've climbed out of numéro. i've already purchased a tartan mini dress from zara recently, which is very baggy/drapey and flows and moves wonderfully. i adore that zara is going for such chic silhouettes in a big way. as for coats, i've spied various cape-style winter coats at my local store. yes, please! this dramatic willowy silhouette trend is a dream come true for yours, truly. not only does it (obviously) conceal any body/shape dislikes you may have without the whole making-you-look-pregnant thing so many encountered with the empire/babydoll dress trend, but it also serves as a modern reincarnation of that fluid 1940's style. i am all over it.
